JOB OVERVIEW

US Company is looking for a motivated Content Writer. This is a full time position writing content to promote 1) small businesses and their products & services, 2) affiliate products, 3) business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience and a passion for researching and writing web page content, blog postings, press releases, articles, promotional copy and other items.

Responsibilities:
• Research various products and services to write original content for small business products and services; affiliate products; business opportunities.
• Create Web page and blog post copy.
• Write press release, reviews and industry articles.
• Competitive research articles
• Community writing for blogs, forums and social media sites.
• Transcribe audio content, write video scripts and power point presentations
• Write ad and landing page copy.
• Web SEO strategy to be integrated within writing based on marketing department requirements.
• Submit written content to blogs, websites, web 2.0 properties, article directories, forums, press release sites, and other online locations.

Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in US English.
• Ability to write in a natural conversational tone.
• Knowledge of sales copy principles a plus
• BA or BS degree.
• Team player.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
