JOB OVERVIEW

Due to a consistent increase in our workload we are looking to employ a new individual in the role of a Desktop Support Expert.


You need to have a reliable internet connection aswell as a reliable computer and always be contactable via Microsoft Teams or by phone.

You will need to have a curious mind to be able to diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature.

Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications Upgrade to see actual infostall and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software (certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft or HDI are a plus).

Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.

Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.

Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgrades.

Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.

Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.

Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers and administrative systems.

Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.

Must have strong work ethic.

Must be a team player and ability to move from one problem to the Upgrade to see actual infoanised and have an attention to detail.

Excellent phone Upgrade to see actual infoprehensive English.
Excellent communication

Additionally, experience with the following technologies would be highly regarded:

Windows 10, 8, 7
Microsoft Office 365
Understand Basic Networks to trouble shoot internet related issues.
Know how to use remote support technologies such as VPN’s, RDP, Teamviewer

A minimum of 2 years experience supporting the technologies listed would be expected.
