Blogger / Virtual Assistance with Wordpress Blog

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an Internet savvy writer to join our blogging team for a magazine style website that focuses on gadgets, gear, technology and the coolest consumer products on the web. Candidates must have a knack and love for writing, an understanding of the tech/gadgets industry, and experience in blogging. The blogger will be expected to sustain and develop the company's voice across all our blog content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write about a wide range of products for our blog with focus on driving engagement within social networks.
• Write content that is optimized for search engines (SEO - keywords in content and title, unique and relevant content)
• Upload related images to the article and embed Youtube videos (when applicable)
• Writing and scheduling content in Wordpress on a consistent basis, 4 to 5 blog posts per day (about 150 to 300 words per post on average), totaling up to 25 blog posts per workweek.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Great writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of blog content.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills to work independently with the objective to produce content consistently while maintaining quality.
• 1-3 years of experience in blogging, web copywriting, and/or content creation experience.
• Content written must be able to pass Copyscape and be 100% unique.
• Experience with Wordpress is a must.
• Must have Paypal account to accept payments that will be made weekly.
