JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an analytical and commercially aware Research Assistant to support our Product Development team by researching and presenting comprehensive data on consumer trends, product analysis, patent information, supplier information and any other such information as directed in the research requirements.

You will have excellent organisational skills and be a great team player, communicator, with the ability to work under pressure and self-motivate. You will play an integral role in supporting the overall growth of the company as we embark on new product opportunities, and focus on expanding our existing portfolio.

What you’ll do:

Assist Product Development team with a variety of data collection reports (abstracting Amazon data, researching trends, taking notes, etc.)
Understand market dynamics, identifying potential products after comprehensive market research, creation of wish list
Research new leads and find new key accounts/contacts specifically related to key product channels
Analysing past product sales to identify upgrading possibilities
Gathering, collating and analysing data.
Prepare reports as and when required on key Upgrade to see actual infopleting negative review analysis on current offerings and competitor offerings and ensure issues are reported relevant Product Manager
Maintains collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment
Attends meetings and performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned
