Need experienced XERO Accountant/CPA

We are a rapidly growing digital marketing agency this is looking to hire a full-time accountant or very skilled bookkeeper who can help us get caught up to date for the last 12 months and help us get set up on XERO.

You would be our first hire inside our finance department and would help us develop the processes and systems we need to accurately keep track of our finances and forecasting.

We need someone who is confident in their skills and has experience helping smaller businesses ($500k-$1MM annual revenue) get their accounting and bookkeeping in order. We do not have a training program, or much in place right now as far as systems, or SOP's in our finance department. We are very much a sales-heavy focused company. You would need to be the person to help lead and guide us in building our finance department.

Requirements:

2+ years of accounting experience with XERO
Experience with Double-entry bookkeeping
Experience with Accrual Based Accounting


Preferences:

Experience with working with a digital marketing agency or high ticket B2B services related industry
Understanding of and ability to file taxes in the United States.
CPA
5+ years of accounting experience
