Developer / Webmaster

We are looking for a developer to join our team and to help us build a new tool for our business. The tool is a sales system that will contain functionality to do the following:

- Discover and scrape data about companies
- Database of companies and personnel
- Contact data for people and companies
- Sales tracking system
- Front end application to manage contacting

The initial focus will be on the development of a company database. Some efforts have already been coded in PHP. We are happy for you to take leadership here and work out the best platform to run the app on. Take what has already been worked on and transform it into a first class app.

This role also includes a Webmaster aspect to manage web hosting and other tasks like creating/monitoring Cron jobs etc. Any skills or experience with similar will be highly regarded.

This role will be to come on-board full time and take a leadership role in developing the application. Once we have the company database function completed, we will work together to extend the functionality and to develop an app that will ensure the future of our company.

To be successful at this role, you should have experience with creating end to end applications. You must be able to look past the requirements and find the best possible solutions to the problems we are trying to solve. You should be ready to expand and take on a leadership role when the time is right.

You will be expected to work with minimal supervision. Daily reporting will be important with weekly catch ups to review progress. You should be able to make a lot of decisions by yourself and be ready to justify your decisions. You will receive direction from the rest of the business but the buck will stop with you on how the application is built.

The role will begin with a 2 month probational period, which you will be paid 12,000php every two weeks. On completion of the trial period (and expected finish of the company database functionality), you will have an opportunity to negotiate your rate and terms as you take on more responsibility.
