Content Manager Wanted

We’re an online business that manages personal brands. We're looking to significantly increase the amount of social media content and general content we produce and distribute. We’re looking for someone who can produce all types of content such as videos with graphics, text, e-mails, and much more. Your job is to create this content and distribute it on multiple platforms.

Everyone on our team is marketers first, not some lame suit and tie middle manager types that feel good about themselves because they can tell someone what to do and hide in the middle.

If you’re looking for “comfort”, you’ll hate this job. If you need to be told what to do every five minutes, you’ll really hate this job.

If you’re creative and love to create engaging content that people want to share and watch, you’ll love this job and our team. We are a fun, fast-paced, and creative team that cares about each other.

We create our own podcasts, books, live events, online classes, and more. You’ll be involved in all types of content creation.

The most important thing you must realize is that there is no job description. There is no such thing as “that’s not my job” in our company. Formal training/education is NOT a requirement, but A+ over-communication skills are.

You must be passionate about storytelling, marketing, and making cool stuff for our websites and social media.

You should have the confidence, creativity, and initiative to help us form visual style and brand identity through digital content. The owners want ideas from YOU, not the other way around. We need someone with an artistic side.

Understands how to use Final Cut Upgrade to see actual infootoshop and Illustrator is a bonus. You don’t need to be a pro at Final Cut Pro, but you need to know your way around.

An eye for design and the ability to create engaging videos with Upgrade to see actual infoitiative to work and produce prolifically without supervision.

This is not a clock-in, clock-out position. Our teaUpgrade to see actual infombers love what we do… if you love the hustle, you’re in the right place.

Super organized and like staying that way to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Familiarity with podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Google, and WordPress. You should have a rough understanding of best practices, context, video trends. (Do you know what makes a good Instagram video vs. a good YouTube video today? Do you know how to make an engaging Instagram story? Are you familiar with the world of social media influencers?)

Compiling and producing video footage for podcasts, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media distribution.

Pulling stills from video footage and overlaying graphics/text for social media distribution.

Creating and adding graphics, visual effects, music, and animation to video projects.

Management of YouTube channels – utilize all of YouTube's best practices for traffic and SEO.

Post Upgrade to see actual info on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, our blog, etc.

You must be kind and treat everyone with honor and respect at all times, even under high-pressure situations, which there will be plenty of.

Salary: $650/mo with the possibility of raises.
