JOB OVERVIEW

If you are an amazing motion graphic artist / video editor, a growing innovative Canadian trademarking company is looking for YOU!

We are beginning a large project reshooting many of the old videos on our YouTube channel at Upgrade to see actual info (make sure you subscribe!) and need someone to help us take our videos to the next level.

When I say next level, I mean we want to produce videos of this caliber:

POSITION TYPE: Flexible

MUST-HAVES:
— Have extensive experience using Adobe Premiere (multicam, text animations, transitions) and have it installed on your computer
— Have motion graphic artist skills to add engaging animations to talking-head videos (once again, watch the 3 example videos above to have an idea of what we're looking for.)
— Have a good taste to source high-quality B-Roll using stock footage websites like Upgrade to see actual info
— Have a good taste to souce background music and audio effects
— Be willing to learn new skills and grow as a video editor
— Be willing to join and become part of a team that works tirelessly towards a big goal
— Be prepared to make as many revisions on each video until you and the team are happy with the final result
— Know how to treat audio to remove noise and reverb without ruining the actual sound
— Have fast and reliable internet to download and upload a lot of video data (we will be using Upgrade to see actual info for our projects)
— Be available on short notice and provide quick, high-quality turnaround
— Be excited about new challenges and tight deadlines
— English as native or near-native speaker, to be able to make edits without me having to babysit each and every edit

NICE-TO-HAVES:
— Have experience using Adobe Photoshop and have it installed on your computer to create thumbnails
— Know how to create whiteboard animation videos using Doodly or similar tools
