Experienced Photo Editor for Shopify Ecommerce Company in Beauty / Cosmetics Niche

Role, Responsibilities, Results & Requirements:

We are a Shopify E-Commerce dropshipping company active in multiple countries in Western Europe. Most of our business is in the beauty / cosmetics niche and for this we are looking for a new photo editor to hire full-time.

Role:
As a photo editor you edit or find HD product photo's that have a very strong commercial flair and professional branded feeling. The photos you edit will be used to sell products online for an E-Commerce company specialized in the beauty / cosmetics Niche.

These all fall within a template that should take no more than 50-70 minutes / set (6) to complete. Most times only 2-3 out of the 6 photo's require any editing to make it look clean, others are just copy paste work requiring the background to be removed / whitened.

You will be given the template for the build up of a photo set. This template includes the six types of photo's (Box photo mock up, 2x face photo, instructional, content, product photo) that are to be used on every product to allow for best conversion.The template is an easy structure to follow and allows you to easily decide what direction to take with the material you found online.

Responsibilities:
Every day from Monday-Saturday, you will edit 6 sets of photos from products, totalling 36 sets of photos every week. Each day you will be given a list of six products, together with a video, competitor's websites, an Amazon product page and an AliExpress product page and our product description with the instructions and benefits.

Your responsibility is to find out what it is that makes customers tick by looking ad the angle used in the video and photo's from websites. Looking at competitors' products page to scan for great images together with Amazon & Upgrade to see actual infoing various internet platforms such as youtube (influencers), competitors, google images & pexels, you come up with a set (6) of photos that can be used to add to the product Upgrade to see actual info addition to this you will find / make 1 great GIF that shows the usage of the products and will be added to the product description.

Result:

As a result you will edit 6 sets of photos every day. These sets need to follow the template you were given and should be delivered every day at the same time (08h00 GMT+2 = 14h00GMT+2 Philipino time) to allow for small edits during business hours.

Requirements:
For this job, you will need:
1. Strong English Speaking skills
2. A stable internet connection.
3. 2+ years of photo editing experience (preferably in the beauty / cosmetics niche)
4. 30-40 hours / week to do the job
5. Your own photo editing software
