Video Editor

I am looking for a video editor that can help with short teaching videos that I create. I need the person to also be able to help with some graphics design. I use Final Cut Pro X on a Mac - so my preference would be to work with someone who has the same software but I'm happy to consider other platforms. When you reply to me, please let me know what kind of software you use for video and for graphics.
