Website Administrator

We are looking for an organized individual who can manage and maintain websites, taking into account functionality, appearance, content, and performance. The main focus is on the organizational and technical aspects of web maintenance, security and troubleshooting, but also to update the more visible parts of the website, tweaking the design or adding new sections.


Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Maintains web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, and monitoring system performance.
- Establishes web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements; and designing system infrastructure.
- Establishes organizational best practices for the company, and helps ensure ongoing compliance.
- Maintains web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning
- Secures web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; and maintaining documentation.

The ideal candidate:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Experience with BOTH the Shopify and Wordpress platforms
- 2 years plus experience
- Experienced in System Administration
- Has Technical Understanding and Management
- Well versed in Telecommunications and Internet Technologies
- Can start as part-time/ 10 hours per week

Internet Speed Requirement: minimum of 15mbps
