JOB OVERVIEW

Do you have a passion for the arts and love supporting creative people? Are you personable, self-motivated, detail-oriented person who is experienced with Microsoft Word, Wordpress and social media posting? Are you someone who is self-motivated and loves researching online and enjoys figuring things out for yourself?
I am a visual artist making work inspired by meditation and nature to uplift others.
I also have a YouTube channel where I talk about the inner life of the creative person and make painting tutorials.
I’d need someone who has basic Photoshop skills and can write well. Would love someone who believes in the work we are doing and will bring creative ideas and input to better serve our community.
I’m happy to train the right candidate but you need to enjoy researching and figuring programs and processes on your own and be a quick study with new platforms. This job has room to grow and shine and make an impact in the lives of others. If you an enthusiastic person who is looking for more than just a “job,” read on. You’ll be paid while training in a wide range of skills you can use in the future. Looking for someone who after an initial trial period can commit to a minimum of one year. Hours flexible.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

YouTube Channel and Upgrade to see actual info website and blog
• Upload videos including descriptions, links, cards, keywords and tags.
• Organize content ideas and create and track production calendar.
• Manage email correspondence and respond to YouTube comments in my voice and style.
• If you have experience and training in filmmaking or video editing, I can add more hours especially if you have some creative flair and experience with motion graphics.
• Run giveaways for YouTube audience.

Administrative
• Bi-monthly virtual meetings to plan, confer and review projects and tasks.
• Weekly progress updates via Trello.
• Oversee studio activity and track goals and projects.
• Maintain inventory of artwork. (Filemaker Pro).
• Edit and resize images. (Photoshop).
• Organize images (Dropbox).
• Make website updates (WordPress).
• Manage Etsy shop, listings, photos, descriptions.

Outreach
• Manage and draft outreach to art consultants, galleries and curators. (Hubspot)
• Marketing through social media and newsletters and press releases (Mailchimp, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest).
• Apply to artist calls, grants, residencies, exhibition proposals.
• Maintain contacts database on Hubspot and manage occasional mailings.

Skills:
? Strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
? Organized, self-starter who enjoys working on their own.
? Experience with Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Trello, WordPress and Filemaker and MailChimp. (I can give you basic training on some of these platforms, but you also need to be able to figure new platforms out as I did.)
? If not experienced, a quick study on learning new platforms such as Hubspot and Filemaker
? Strong work ethic, ability to be meticulous and to work independently.
? Knowledge of the international contemporary art world and market a huge plus.
