We need a QA Test Automation Engineer
We're looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer who has a passion for software quality and has in-depth knowledge of the latest quality assurance and quality control procedures and practices in software development. You'll be working closely with developers, and will be responsible for creating and executing test plans using automated (and manual) techniques to ensure high levels of quality for complex applications including hardware, web, and mobile.

We generally look for self-motivated that have a broad but thorough base of experience and knowledge, learn quickly, know how to take ownership, and like working in fast-paced environments. Is that you?

What you'll do every day
Design, develop and execute automated tests for new and existing functionality using Cypress
Perform different types of black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing including functional, system, end to end, data integrity, user acceptance, smoke, regression, and ad hoc testing
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Documenting testing results and collaborating with software developers to regress and resolve bugs and other issues
Monitor release quality and make recommendations regarding risks and stability of new features
Assist in shaping the overall QA process by suggesting improvements, best practices, and new approaches to testing workflows
Collaborate with product teams to proactively define and maintain test plans and test specifications for functional, regression, and performance testing
Research and recommend new test tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
Foster DevOps culture and product ownership amongst the team

Qualifications
3-5 years of experience with software quality assurance, including both automated and manual test strategies.
Experienced and fluent with Cypress (testing framework)
Experienced and fluent with Jira and other Atlassian products (Confluence, etc)
Experienced and fluent with Google Apps (mail, docs, calendar primarily)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices such as automated tests, builds, and deployments
Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies, and their direct implementation to projects
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of development and quality strategies
Working in an Agile/Scrum development process
