JOB OVERVIEW

The Marketing Automation Manager also serves as the primary administrator of all Marketing Technologies (primarily Hubspot) and owns all outbound marketing email sends. As the main point of contact on the optimal use of these technologies, the Automation Manager becomes a critical communication hub and support for members of the sales and account development Upgrade to see actual info addition, the Marketing Automation Manager monitors, measures and analyzes the data generated by the use of these technologies to provide insights on doing smart things.

Job Description:
As the Marketing Automation Manager, you will create, send, monitor, and report on marketing email communications and automation. You will also conduct data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by the agency and its clients. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple emails and projects at once. The Marketing Automation Manager reports to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns. This includes (but is not limited to) developing copy and subject lines, designing email templates, building email lists, and more
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify our target email audience and grow our email list, using particularly placed sign up forms and gated content throughout the larger website

• Manage and report on email marketing campaigns and results; use results to determine ROI, make suggestions for improvements, and establish best practices
• Ensure prompt, accurate, and error-free communication with customers to build loyal relationships and minimize unsubscribes
• Work with leadership to determine goals; report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
• Maintain email database
• Upgrade email sends through sourced graphics, customization, calls-to-action, and additional advanced features
• Ensure emails follow industry standards and privacy policies
• 3+ years of digital marketing, marketing analytics, or email marketing experience, preferably in a related industry
• Strong communication skills – written and oral
• Impeccable grammar, writing skills, and deep understanding of direct Upgrade to see actual infodirect email copy
• Ability to track, measure, and report on results of email marketing campaigns to determine ROI
• Sufficient experience in marketing automation and content management systems
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights from data
• Solid understanding of the sales lifecycle
• HTML Knowledge preferred
• Experience in HubSpot
• Skilled in problem-solving and project management
• Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results

Requirements:
· 1-2 years of experience working with marketing automation.
· BA/BS Degree or equivalent working experience
· HTML and CSS proficiency
· Strong analytical skills with reporting and data analysis
· Certification in Hubspot
· Ability to manage multiple email campaigns and data projects at the same time
· Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
