Web Developer

We are looking for a freelance web developer with Wordpress and Magento experience. We run Wordpress on a LAMP stack and need someone who is able to translate PSDs from our designer into Wordpress pages (we use Divi). We are also now moving forwards with an ecommerce project which is likely to be based on Magento 2CE.

The work will be intermittent to begin with, but will likely scale to minimum 15 hours per week after month 1 and eventually will become fully time. The standard of work and measure of output will have a direct bearing on how quickly this becomes an option.

You'll be reporting directly to the Marketing Manager who is not technical, but will be supported by various other team members including the systems manager and ERP owner. You must speak English flawlessly and be able to communicate with non-technical team members to understand requirements and deliver according to spec.

We use HubStaff and Transferwise for timesheets, approvals and payments. This is supplemented with a written freelancer agreement for clarity and assurance.

Hours are flexible, but availbility during 'core' hours is essential. These are 9am to 12pm UK time.

Payment can be made in PHP, GBP or USD. For universality the job is listed in USD at $8ph. Applicants around this area will be considered on an experience/skill vs cost basis.
