Super Speedy Image Editor (Retoucher)

Andrew Wood Photography is a very busy, fast-paced Boudoir & Burlesque photography studio in the UK and our mission is to empower ALL women to feel amazing.

We are looking for a super speedy, yet skilled, editor to give our beautiful images that perfect finish. Each photograph should take no longer than 2.5 minutes to edit on average (some images may take 5 mins, but others will take 1 min).

The criteria is to:
1. Do a quick tidy and clean of any backgrounds that are scuffed/marked
2. Smooth the skin of the client to their desired level so they look their best*
3. Liquify any unsightly areas such as underarms, stomachs and legs
4. Ensure the brightness and contrast are correct; making the image really POP!

*Our in-house and existing retouching team use Imagenomic Portraiture plug-in for Photoshop. If you don't have this or a similar skin-smoothing plug-in, it will likely take you MUCH longer to smooth skin to a good level. Please mention it in your application as if you are successful we will arrange for you to get a copy of Portraiture.

When you have finished editing the shoot, you will:
A) Copy the images
B) Batch the copies into black & white, so that our client has a choice of colour/B&W for each one
C) Create an Animoto slideshow (training will be provided and is VERY easy, literally takes 5 minutes)
D) Place all finished work (colour images, B&W images and Animoto) into our MEGA account

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/TRAITS:
- Reliable
- Fast
- Great eye for details
- Willing to learn
- Team player
- Good communicator, who speaks English
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Own your own PC that is suitable for editing images and an up-to-date version of Photoshop

DESIRABLE SKILLS/TRAITS:
- Flexible (we are flexible too!)
- Experience with retouching people (and Portraiture)
- Experience with Google Sheets (we use Google Sheets for giving you your work)
- Experience with Adobe Bridge and batch processing photographs

Batch processing is allowed, so long as the images still meet our quality control criteria.

Salary is based on editing 3-5 photoshoots (of 40-50 images each) per day for 5 days per week. There is a bonus structure in place for excellent work and we are always willing to look at increasing salary if the clients you edit are spending more money than other retouchers. (The amount of work you receive will depend on your availability, your speed (i.e. how quickly you can return finished shoots to us), your reliability and what works for us - and you!
