Nutrition Data Entry and Quality Assurance

This position is for Full-Time U.S. Business Hours Only and requires both Data Entry and Quality Assurance checks for our food and nutrient database.

A leading Nutrition software company with customers in over 100 countries is hiring a Data Entry and Quality Assurance Agent who will help us manage and maintain the food data for our database. Our Food database captures data from internet sites. The nutrition candidate will enter the data in our internal data entry tool and use their background to help determine the right type of data to enter in our application. Example of the data entry---
1. For example, to update McDonald’s visit the McDonalds website and pull the nutrition information for each item like burgers fries etc. find a similar product in our database and update the nutrition values like calories, fat etc.
2. Also look at the ingredients list to check if they contain any animal products, are they organic, gluten free, etc.
3. Look at the ingredients and determine the types of food groups for example grain, fruit, vegetable, dairy etc.
4. We will train them on how to use our internal data entry nutrition tool.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
• Have a college degree or at least 2 years working experience in nutrition or biology or health science.
• Must know about nutrition information for food –such as calories, protein, fat etc.
• Nursing, Nutrition or other health related job experience a plus.
• Tertiary Hospital or Teaching and Training hospital diabetic food preparation or nutrition preparation a plus.
• Be very detail oriented and careful with data and be willing to work with this type of information.
• Be able to use Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Be reliable, organized, manage your time well
• Previous Quality Assurance or detail-oriented type work a plus.
• Good English verbal communication skills
• Good written English skills
• Good English comprehension Skills

Hardware Requirements:
Processor should be 2.4 ghz and above, intel core 5/7 or equal is highly required
A Headset with noise cancelling feature is a must for training, team meetings etc.
At least 10 mbps and wired connection for main isp
