Greetings! I’m hiring an experienced web developer/designer to re-design/upgrade my website, with a focus on improved speed and efficiency.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

- After a thorough review of my current website and our needs, you'll create and install a new website design that cleaner, runs much faster, and is equally or more attractive than my outdated one. The site is large and some of the background plugins & systems are a bit complicated, so you'll need to be an excellent digital problem-solver to figure out how to overcome issues that will arise when designing and installing the site redesign. If it is necessary, you will need to contact and work with tech support services until a particular problem is solved.

I currently use translation software WPML, and have a partial Spanish-language version of the site. However, I would like to discuss alternate solutions with you, as this plugin solution is fairly complicated, and it may be hard to implement a redesign without rebuilding it. Since I do not have a page-for-page translation, we may be able to use a different approach. Here is a link to the Spanish version of the site: Upgrade to see actual info.

- Although my website has been professionally optimized in the past, it is currently running very slow (26% on mobile and 66% on desktop in one test, 10 second load times on some pages). I currently use an Avada theme (which needs to be replaced because it is notoriously slow), a WooCommerce storefront, and I use a large number of 3rd party plugins (we’ll review this list and get rid of ones that are not needed). I am currently hosted by Bluehost with a dedicated IP and their cloud business hosting. I have 3 other URLs on my account, two of which redirect to my main website (Upgrade to see actual info)

- I have numerous pages and blog Upgrade to see actual info is important that ALL META DATA, TAGS, POST, PAGE & POST FEATURED IMAGES, ETC., be left in tact when implementing the redesign. Feature image size displays must match the current site’s so the featured images, and product display images, will be fully visible.
