JOB OVERVIEW

VA with knowledge of SEO for help with building out a network of affiliate sites

We're looking for someone to help us out with our affiliate sites. The tasks will vary and will involve editing articles, writing blog articles, email outreach for guest posts and maybe some social media activities. This position will involve providing assistance with scheduling, customer service, planning, responding to emails, social media management, time-tracking, link-building, internet research, and other business tasks and projects.

This is a long term, full-time position with steady hours. We hope you will be with us for years to come. You should be available between 30 and 40 hours a week. There may be slight modifications to the time depending on the needs of this business as we grow.

1) I won't be peeking over your shoulder 24/7. I'll train you, move out of your way, and be around ANY time you need me or if you have questions.

2) I will personally train you to do everything I request. You'll never be given a task that I haven't already thoroughly explored and figured out how to execute efficiently.

3) With the exception of team members that make too many excuses for low-quality/inconsistent work, I'm VERY understanding of you needing to move your hours around here and there, as long as the quality of work isn't being sacrificed.

We are an emerging SEO and content marketing firm, working with major eCommerce companies. Our content has been featured on one of the best marketing websites. We have a team of VAs working remotely for us. We are currently working on a network of 200+ WordPress affiliate sites.

Preferred Skills/Attributes
======================
The VA needs to have a good command of identifying useful keywords using the best tools available. He will also be in charge of running technical site audits, optimization of videos and assessing our competitor’s strengths and weaknesses.

To apply to this position you must have the knowledge related to the latest Google SEO trends and should be eager to test new things. You should also have a good understanding of how to work on WordPress, install plugins, themes, and the latest upgrades.

1. You are ready to learn new things and follow the latest trends for your work.
2. You have your SEO game strong and are always ready to try new tools to boost site rankings. You must have prior experience working with Google Analytics and Ahrefs.
3. You’re an organized individual and save all the quantitative data in spreadsheets.
4. It would be a plus if you have worked on something of your own, be it a personal blog, a website, an affiliate project, etc.

Description of work
================
1. Plan out SEO strategies for our blogs, strategic keyword research. Identify and assess the weak areas of on-page, technical and off-page SEO.
2. Monitor the technical state of our site, run SEO audits, handle WordPress efficiently(updating themes,set up sites, installing plugins, posting content). Manage tracking tools, such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, google analytics, etc, to manage our website stats.
3. Compile and organize weekly SEO progress reports.
4. Take writing content, Optimize content and post on our network of Affiliate sites.

To be successful in this position you should excel at the following:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (spelling, grammar, and syntax)
- Excellent understanding of spoken English and common idioms including the ability to transcribe it accurately from voice memos.
- Ability to do research online and concisely compile information.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to be trustworthy, efficient, and confidential to protect privacy.
- Ability to write professional emails to facilitate scheduling meetings and responses.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets (including functions), Google Docs, Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.

Required skills/resources for applying

1) Consistency and trustworthiness. Please do not apply if you can't deliver 35-40 high-quality hours per week, with very rare exceptions.

2) A VERY reliable high-speed internet Upgrade to see actual info will be required at all times for the work you'll be doing.

3) The ability to type at least 40-50 WPM. Anything below that won't be efficient enough for this position, unfortunately.

4) A willingness to use hour-tracking software like Hubstaff. I'll be honest, I only check this when I run payroll or when a team member's productivity seems low. I don't obsess over these screenshots or even check them, usually, but I need to have them to process payroll, and to check if productivity ever seems low.

5) Excellent spoken AND written English, and the ability to be comfortable recording audio messages to strangers in English (as mentioned above, I will provide a script for this)

6) An overall commitment to doing the highest quality work you're capable of.
