About the Company:
Our marketing communications agency, Refocus Marketing is a niche marketing agency providing a wide range of marketing and sales support services to independent optometrists in Australia. Two of its affiliate companies are:
• Opticare – a company that manufactures optical lenses as well as supply clients with frame + lens packages and other optical equipment since 1984.
• Sugar&Flour – a startup managing an upcoming website app designed for bakery businesses can get hired by customers who are looking for cakes and other desserts.

About this Job:
We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Full-Stack Developer who will develop the Sugar&Flour website app from scratch using our preferred technology stack. We have a list of features, we have the sitemap and wireframing done, but we are developing the concept more as we go, and we want the successful candidate to be actively involved in that process.

The successful candidate will also provide support to our business in developing and maintaining our various web and software development projects under Opticare. The successful candidate will be working directly with both our Marketing and IT Managers.

You have to be results-oriented, time-conscious, organised, and professional most especially because you will be working as part of a remote team.

We will need the successful candidate to work alongside the team based in Australia meaning we will need you to be available working between 7AM to 4PM, Philippine Time. You may be allowed to change your schedule only upon the approval of our Upgrade to see actual infoitially, the Full-Stack Developer will work part-time but can be full-time later on after your evaluation. Number of hours required during the evaluation: 20 or 30 hours per week. Excess hours after these time limits will have to be reviewed and approved by our Director before we process for payment.


Requirements and qualifications:
1. Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies.
2. 5 years of PHP development experience.
3. Proficient in coding using PHP 7.0+.
4. 3+ years Laravel/Code Ignite.
5. 2+ PostgreSQL experience.
6. 3+ years Javascript - AngularJS/ReactJS.
7. 2+ years CSS.
8. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Access/VBA.
9. Must know the PSR-2 coding style guide/standard.
10. Must know how to use Git.
11. Big project (150+ tables) work experience.
12. Should be able to create an app from ground app.
13. Previous experience in developing an SaaS software is a plus.
14. Work with the IT Manager to implement the latest internet security standard and functions across our organisation’s web and mobile applications.

16. Gather and analyze data for reporting and prepare for technical documentations.
17. Perform unit, functional, and integration tests, and resolve trouble tickets.

19. Good communication skills both oral and verbal.
20. Conscious of project timelines, with good time management skills, and is able to consistently meet deadlines.
21. Ability to multi-task.
22. Participate in design discussions, reviews, and meetings.
23. Pro-active, high-attention to detail, professional, and time-conscious.

26. Available to work between 7AM and 4PM, Philippine time.
