Construction Operations Specialist

iGotRehabs is looking for someone with excellent communication and operations skills to join our team as a Construction Operations Specialist. This position will help manage a rapidly growing construction company called iGotRehabs.


We use Co-construct to manage construction and QuickBooks for our accounting records. We prefer someone that has experience working in a another company that would like to help build systems and processes to help improve the business. Responsibilities
- Control and Monitor project total expenditures including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and contractors to ensure that all project expenditures are capture and properly recorded.

- Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes and others.

- Ensure effective project implementation and manage the project schedule via grant chart within Co-construct to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing, delivery up to the closure of the project by sub-contractors.

- Establish the Cost Breakdown Structure and integrate within Estimate in Co-construct.

- Responsible for project costing related reporting to the team and management review on a weekly basis to ensure expenditures are keep within project budget.

- Provide cost control and planning advice to internal management team as and when required.

- Review proposed cost changes with construction personnel, client and contractors

- Provide variety of cost engineering functions including cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, and cost reporting under limited supervision.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must be fluent English Speaker.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Has 2-5 years experience supporting a construction company.
- Has experience working with construction management software. like Co-construct, Procore, or Buildertrend
- Must be able to work between 8:00am and 12:00pm CST 4 hours per day. Monday-Friday with a desire to move into a full-time position.
- Must be Reliable, Need to be able to consistently work remotely with supervision in a quiet location.
- Tech savvy – Need to know how to use a smartphone, google, and learn how to use web based applications we have. (We can teach you too)
- Very Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Computer - Must Have a Desktop or Laptop with high speed internet access.
- Positive Attitude
