JOB OVERVIEW

The role of Senior WordPress Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of advanced WordPress and WooCommerce development requirements.

This includes the following:
Estimating the hours required for development tasks with very high level (non-detailed) requirements
Identifying solutions to high level functional requirements without the need for a detailed requirements specification
Custom php and javascript development using OOP techniques
Forking or extending 3rd party plug-ins
Investigating 3rd party plug-in configurations and database alterations
Developing custom solutions for 3rd party API integrations (not using plug-ins, etc. for standard API configurations)
Creating all work in a custom plug-in

The role also includes working with 3rd party plug-ins and themes, ensuring that all the provided functionality is used through supplied settings and options prior to creating any custom code.

The listed requirements are the bare minimum with some other desirable requirements being:
Design ability or eye for design
Ability to create website mock-ups
Ability to code using HTML/CSS
Ability to build WordPress website based on a design mock-up using only options and setting within the Elementor builder suite without the need for code
Ability to use the CRED Toolset proficiently

You will enjoy the challenge of technically complex projects requiring solutions and initially there will be some projects that are partially completed where you will understand what has been done to date, improve any work as required and then extend the functionality to deliver the highest quality outcome.

Your English will be fluent and you will be able to quickly and easily understand requirements from the user functionality perpective and be able to self-manage the development of these requirements into a solution.
