Hello! I am looking for a WooCommerce expert who can set up and support a large number of WooCommerce stores on a regular basis.
The most important skills for this job:
1.WordPress Site Creation
2. WooCommerce Expertise
3. Technical Support Experience
What will you be doing?
One of our clients is a startup that plans on setting up 500 to 1,000 WooCommerce stores on behalf of their customers. For each new customer our client signs up, you will be provided a domain name and FTP
You'll be able to do this from a "template site and store" that has the majority of the options set and all products already configured. After you've installed the template site and store, you'll then configure it:
- Change the name to match the customer's business name
- Replace the template logo with the customer's logo
- Change the colors to match their theme
- Configure the Stripe gateway and plugins to use their Stripe Account ID
- Test the store
Our senior developer has been creating the process for this. We're at an exciting stage, because you'll be able to help customize that process, then take over for him.
After the stores are set up and running, we'll need you to apply periodic WordPress and plugin updates. Also, we'll need you to handle technical support requests from the store site, as well as from our client's main site.
We expect this to grow rapidly, so there's an opportunity for this to expand into a full-time position. Also, if the demand outstrips capacity, we may add another person to help.
The name of our business is Battlestar Digital. We are a new web and WordPress plugin development agency. We build WordPress sites, develop web applications, and handle ongoing maintenance & enhancements. We have a team of four, including two part-time developers.
Our values are Fun, Family, and Location Independence. Our mission is to make technology easy for business owners. You can help us achieve that by provisioning these sites and helping our customers and their shoppers solve problems.
Soft Skills:
* Deadline-driven
* Self-starter
* Able to take direction
* Prompt communication
* EXTREMELY focused on detail (we've had some problems with that in the past!)
Terms:
* Part-time, 10 hours per week
* Possibility of moving into a full-time, 40-hours per week role as the business grows
As part of your application, please tell me about a few WooCommerce projects you've worked on, and send samples of your work. Samples can be either links to live sites or links to GitHub repositories.
Thank you!
