JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: General VA

Type of Position: Part-Time

Work Time Zone:

Must be available between Monday through Thursday from 6PM to 10:30PM Eastern Time (New York) as I may need to chat with them during this time. Otherwise, flexible on
the work hours as long as the work gets done (majority of the work should be done
during weekdays New York time) as my clients are mainly business people who will work
during New York Time weekdays.

Daily Reporting and
Accountability:

Need short bullet forms of (can simply be an email or word doc):

Section 1: What was completed each day – such as created 5 blog posts, optimized 5
videos, sent out 20 LinkedIn messages to invite them to the free training,

Section 2: Any issues that need my help with (such as if they don’t know how to do
something or encountered difficulties) or if they had any suggestions as to how to
improve things to do something faster or better (I will give monetary rewards for those
as we agree upon in the contract)

Section 3: Any messages that I need to respond to from potential clients – just need
them to copy the question for me to answer

Section 4: Appointments that were set (if any) – bullet list of who it’s with (including
contact info), what they want to discuss so that I can prepare before the meeting, what
time it is and how we are meeting (i.e. phone or skype or location if in person).
1. Transcription from videos and audios for podcast (should not be verbatim – i.e. they should remove um’s, ah’s, -
and should be punctuated + paragraph format.

2. Uploading of videos, audios, pictures and transcript/PDF’s into YouTube and online storage sites (such as Libsyn
and LeadPages and Wordpress or Amazon s3).

3. Export videos and audios.

4. Edit the video & audio info in iTunes (i.e. change the title, meta tags, description, etc).
5. Optimize YouTube video for description, annotations, keywords, based on set template for what to do (I’ll
provide the layout and the template wording – they have to update it based on each video (which they can get
the information from the blog post/podcast).
6. Basic keyword research in YouTube for optimizing video search results – i.e. if the video is on financial

abundance, then they’ll need to find 10-15 of the most searched for terms in YouTube (i.e. ones that are auto-
suggested) and I’ll show them how in training.

7. Create an opt-in box within LeadPages (I’ll show them using video tutorial how to do it)
8. Create blog post in Wordpress – title, URL customization, YouTube embed code, post content (from myself)
(some which need hyperlinking), insert image and podcast audio/video file download path, schedule for
publishing date.
9. Create a broadcast in Aweber email (I can show them training on how to do this).
10. Create simple images using paint (or some other program they have), Upgrade to see actual info, or Podcast content.
11. Schedule in updates via Hootsuite – should be able to use the image and then ask a question to others to
increase sharing and comments.
12. LinkedIn connections research (I’ll show how to do this) and email them to invite them to the free training.
13. LinkedIn email management for ones that want to set up appointments to discuss services further or if there are
questions for me to address.
14. Research into what other competitors’ popular podcast/videos/blog article topics are and aggregate these so
that I can create content on it.
15. Minor appointment setting.
16. Minor travel booking.
17. Potential data entry of receipts (that I’ll either export or send photos of) into excel spreadsheet – this will be
infrequent – likely every 3 to 6 months.
18. Future (likely after 4-6 months) may need to research affiliate products to promote.
19. Future (likely after 3 months) will be email management.
20. Future (likely after 3 months) – potential answering customer’s frequently asked questions through email


Proposed Compensation: Part-time – from $100 to $300 depending on skillset.
