Soko Labs is an Australian inventory management startup and we’re looking for javascript developers to help build our SaaS platform. You will play a key role in shaping the product and there will be opportunities for advancement in the team.

Your Role

As a Node.js Backend Developer you will join our team and be responsible for building upon our API, integrations and backend logic. You will work closely with the software architect and other developers. This is a full time remote position, so you’re free to work from wherever you please with flexible hours. Salary is based on experience.

We’re looking for someone with:

- 3+ years of relevant development experience.
- A deep understanding of Javascript ES6 and frameworks.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software engineering practices.
- Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality consumer apps.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and stay self-motivated.

Applicants should have demonstrated skills and experience in:

- Javascript ES6
- Node.js
- Version Control - Git
- MVC architecture
- Basic Devops
- Connecting with 3rd party APIs

Experience in the following areas is considered a plus, but not necessary:

- Google Cloud Platform
- Warehouse and Inventory related knowledge
- GraphQL APIs
- CI/CD Development
- Automated Testing Tools
