PHP & JavaScript Developer

Shibumi is currently looking for a PHP Developer who will be responsible for developing and supporting both the front-end and back-end of PHP scripts. The PHP scripts provide custom functionality and prototyping features that extend an existing Java-based application hosted in AWS. You will work with colleagues in Australia, Europe and the US to ensure a solid, polished product is released to our customers.

WHAT A SHIBUMI PHP DEVELOPER WILL DO

• Learn how to configure the Shibumi Platform (training supplied) to support our Solution Consultants in the delivery of multiple ongoing engagements.

• Participate in architecting, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting PHP scripts.

WHAT A SHIBUMI PHP DEVELOPER WILL HAVE
• Excellent spoken and written English
• 2+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of PHP
• Strong front-end HTML5/CSS3/JS experience
• Experience with at least a 2 modern JavaScript libraries such as React, TypeScript, jQuery, Prototype, Vue or Angular.

•Strong background with Excel and PowerPoint
