Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android/Web)

Overview
The position will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Android/iOS apps. You should be passionate about the mobile space, and technology as a whole, looking to work with a talented team of developers to help strengthen our rapidly growing mobile business unit.
The responsibilities of this post may largely be performed remotely, with visits to the office for meetings or as necessary.

Technical Requirements
• Good written & oral communication skills (English)
• Minimum 1 years programming experience in mobile app development (iOS, Android and Web)
• Practical experience in Android (Java) and/or iOS (Objective-C) preferably both and deployed in the respective App Store. (Include an App Store / Google Play Store url in your CV or cover letter)
• Practical knowledge of JAVA and related technologies e.g. KitKat SDK
• Practical knowledge of Sencha Touch framework is highly desirable
• Sound knowledge in HTML5, PHP, MySQL, CSS3 and CodeIgniter framework.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structure, asynchronous processing and algorithm designs, MVC, create/consume web services.
• An eye for great UI/UX design and a solid understanding of the design/development principles that are specific to mobile applications
• Comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
• Graphics - If you are strong with graphics then great, although if not you do need to at least know how to navigate the basics (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
• Security - Understand technology such as; tokenization, obfuscation, masking, logging disablement, password and authenticating
• Testing - Understand testing facilities (e.g. TestFlight, Unit Testing etc.)
• Perform other related functions which may be assigned from time to time.
• Amenable to work at home and report to our office only when needed

Plus points
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., SVN, Git)
• Experience in WEB development including PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting and administration is an advantage
• Relational database knowledge including SQL
• Experience applications that leverage Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS or Location-based services (LBS)
• Experience with applications that interoperate with peripherals and other devices over serial port, Bluetooth, IR, etc.
• Experience in payment/NFC related projects highly desirable

• Must be a quick learner and be adaptable to new technologies

Home Office Requirements:
• Comfortable Working remotely from Home
• Has a stable DSL / Cable Connection (WiMAX, Canopy, Dongles etc. are not allowed)
• Has an up to date Computer / Laptop
• Has a decent headset and/or webcam
• Comfortable using Skype
