Content Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION
A Content Manager shall be responsible to create marketing & social media content as directed by the Account Manager.  He/she shall create & grow a targeted online media presence.


SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Content Manager shall work under the supervision of an Account Manager.

The Content Manager shall, when requested, provide design, content & style input to the Account Manager during the creation of a client-specific marketing campaign.

The Content Manager shall design & create visual & textual (in grammatically correct English) content according to the specifications established by the Account Manager.

The Content Manager shall submit all work for review prior to its publication.

The Content Manager shall publish & actively manage all approved content, as required by the Account Manager.

The Content Manager shall collate consumption data, when applicable, of all published material & shall report to the Account Manager when requested.

The Content Manager shall continuously identify, investigate & develop additional publishing platforms and shall make regular reports of his/her findings as required by the Account Manager.

The Content Manager shall contribute, when applicable, to the agency resource sharing database.

The Content Manager shall participate & accomplish all tasks requested by the Account Manager.


SUMMARY OF DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Content Manager shall demonstrate an expert-level proficiency of the written English language. He/she shall have well-developed experience in social media, print and/or digital advertising & other internet media including the possibilities of blogging, website design and/or subscriber-based content.

SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION
A Content Manager shall work on a full-time (40 hours per week) basis from home as a remote-based contract staff member. He/she shall provide their own computer device(s) and shall ensure a reliable internet connection in order to (1) be available for regular contact and (2) be able to manage content according to the specifications of this document.

A Content Manager shall be paid a salary that is commiserate with his/her experience and demands. He/she shall be paid one time per calendar month with the first salary payment to occur in the following month at the same date as that of hire. He/she shall receive payment by any of the following methods of his/her choosing: cash, bitcoin or bank transfer.

A Content Manager shall receive four (4) paid weeks of holiday time that are available after three months of employment. Accrued holiday time may not be converted to salary payment but shall not lose value over time.

A Content Manager shall receive an annual raise of salary equal to at least 2.000%. He/she shall also be eligible for performance-based bonuses at the discretion of supervisors and agency ownership.
