Position Overview:

We’re looking for someone who will primarily take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The eCommerce Digital/Graphic Designer should have up-to-date knowledge to interpret the company needs and to design solutions with high visual impact as we work in a fast-paced environment. He/she will work with Copywriter on email marketing efforts among others and with eCommerce team for all ecommerce related projects. Applicants with Ecommerce experience will be given prime consideration. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to effectively interact with a team.
Responsibilities - What You’ll Do:
• Assure that graphic design & production projects are executed professionally and within EGA’s established brand standards.
• Collaborate with marketing teams as well as other departments within the company to provide creative assets as well as revise and maintain existing graphics.
• Work with project stakeholders to establish schedules and guide the progress of projects through successful delivery.
• Organize and facilitate projects including: coordinating meetings, planning workflows, managing assigned tasks, etc.
• Produce creative assets using Adobe CC and Microsoft Office software, plus have a desire to learn new platforms and apps as projects dictate.
• Brief and review progress with other designers.
• Implement corrective measures for identified issues, adapting workflows as needed.
• Assure that deliverable files adhere to all appropriate specifications especially digital files
• Help keep up to date with EGA’s current brand standards as they develop over time and help to evolve the brand.
• Administrative duties related to project work and management, such as creation and maintenance of asset libraries.


Qualifications - Your Background:
• At least 3 years demonstrated experience in Graphic Design at a design studio, development studio, advertising agency, or client organization (or comparable professional experience).
• Proven ability to take a design project from conception to completion. Ability to analyze before starting the project.
• Proficient skills using core Adobe CC applications (Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign) and also Digital management softwares such as Invision, Workfront etc. Knowledge of animation/video applications a plus (After Effects and Premiere Pro).
• Experience using Microsoft Powerpoint, creating presentations or assets to be used for presentations.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge surrounding user experience (UX) design and visual design techniques and trends.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Experience creating branded assets for production across multiple media, print and digital.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in keeping up-to-date with digital technologies and trends.
