Web Content Writer

Our company is in need of a talented Web Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, product descriptions as well as social media, creative, technical and web content. We’re looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to extensive research to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio and relevant work experience.

We operate in multiple niches of which some are:
- Gambling
- Finance
- Medical
- eCommerce products

Responsibilities:
Create web content to drive leads
Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site
Regularly produce various content types which will consist mainly of web copy and product description but may extent to other writing formats
Edit content produced by other members of the team if required
Extensive research on the niche create innovative content ideas
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO
Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Type of writing: Blogging, Copywriting, Creative writing, Technical writing, Web Content writing
Editing and proofreading
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Previous writing experiences preferred
Experience using WordPress preferred
