In this position, you will act as a point of contact for all client matters, and be responsible for creating and managing build long-lasting, high-value relationships. You will also be responsible for developing new business from existing clients.

As an account manager, you will oversee a portfolio of small business customers (small businesses). You will communicate with clients by phone/email/sms to provide advice and help them grow their business. To succeed in this position, you must have exceptional written & oral communication skills as well as problem-solving skills. The goal is to maintain a positive relationship with clients, guide them through advice to help them grow their business, all the while being firm to enforce our partnership agreement.

Much of your time will be spent on the phone (and email) so you must be a fluent English speaker. Work hours are EST/Central and you must be able to commit to a full-time position from home with limited supervision. By joining our team, you’ll benefit from working in a collaborative team setting with talented people. You’ll work directly with the founding executive team and your day-to-day work will have a direct impact on our bottom-line.

What you’ll be doing

• Nurture relationships with clients, based on trust and mutual respect
• Generate new sales by getting referrals from existing client
• Collect and update customer data to ensure with have accurate info
• Educate clients proactively to resolve current issues and prevent future ones
• Help clients improve and grow their business by analyzing data to identify trends and provide clear, actionable advice

Requirements
===========
• Fluent English speaker (not required but a BIG plus: you’re also fluent in Spanish)
• 2-10+ years of work experience in sales or account management, preferably to Small & Medium Businesses
• Outstanding written & phone communication skills, and fast typing skills
• Be EXTREMELY attentive to details (if you often make mistakes due to lack of attention to detail, please do not apply)
• Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through and enforce contracts
• Owner mentality: you’re self-motivated, set your own goals and deliver results working independently
• Be tenacious, high-energy, positive and able to overcome objections
• Home office: high speed internet + privacy (office or room with no background noise)

CareLuLu helps parents find the right child care or preschool program, by providing all the information in one place (photos, openings, cost, verified reviews, etc.) We also help child care providers grow their business while saving time for what truly matters: children! ***NOTE***: in this role, you will NOT speak to parents; you will manage accounts of daycare owners (our customers). • 13th month and possibility of HMO with tenure
