Cornerstone Digital are a Sydney, Australia based digital agency looking for a full-time Senior PHP backend developer who will play a key role on our team. The successful candidate must have knowledge in all stages of software development. You’ll be working alongside other team members, collaborating on creative solutions for our Upgrade to see actual infoSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibilities are to analyze, design, test, implement, deploy web applications and provide ongoing support for client solutions.
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness and speed of solutions.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Highly experienced with PHP and MySQL
- Identify and solve data integrity and integration related issues.
- Manage production and non-prod environments.
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

MUST HAVES
- 5+ years custom web application development experience using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs and MySQL.
- Experience with relational databases, database caching, database optimization/scaling and MySQL queries.
- Expert knowledge working with Wordpress, WooCommerce and custom plugins
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and BitBucket.

NICE TO HAVES
- Certification in Magento
- Experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks

- Excellent analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently.

THE OFFER

Salary
- Php 60,000 - 80,000 NET - Commensurate with skills and experience
- There will be no Government deductions such as withholding tax, SSS, Philhealth and HDM by Cornerstone Digital from the employee’s salary.
- Mandated deduction by law (stated-above) will be ‘Employee- initiated Deductions’.
- Salary will be paid once a month and will incur every 15th of each month.

Work Schedule
- Strictly five (5) days a week with a two (2) day-off schedule, Monday-Friday.
- Scheduled shift - MNL Time
> 6.00 am - 3.00 pm MNL during AEDT (October - April)
> 7.00 am - 4.00 pm MNL during AEST (April - October)
- Employee will follow the Australian public holiday Upgrade to see actual infoaning when a Philippine holiday doesn’t coincide with the Australian holiday the employee will be required to work.
> No holiday premiums will be paid when working on any declared Philippine holidays.

13th Month Pay
- The 13th month will be divided into 12 months and will be included in the employee’s monthly pay.
For example;
Php 60,000 NET / 12 months = Php 5,000 monthly payout

Vacation Leave
- Employee is eligible for twenty (20) days vacation leave.
- Vacation leave days are accrued to the employee’s credit on a monthly basis at a rate of 20/12 months.
- Unused vacation leave credits earned in any given year of service remain ‘banked’ for use by the employee for up to 6 months only the following year. Any unused leaves at the end of this 6 month period will be extinguished and are not convertible to their cash equivalent.

Sick Leave
- Employee is eligible to ten (10) days sickness leave credits per year of service.
- A medical certificate is required to be submitted to HR to validate the sick leave.
- Sick leave is not convertible to its cash equivalent and will not be carried over to the next year.
