Hostly is a Chicago based start up, specializing in Airbnb Property Management.
As the founder of a small business or start up company there are many tasks need to be delegate to someone else to be able to grow the company. We are looking for a long-term General Virtual Assistant to help us with our general operations and various tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Google Docs
Knowledgeable in technology to communicate via computer, smartphone, or text
Highly organized multi-tasker who works well with fast-paced directions and instructions
Demonstrates excellent time management and attention to detail
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Job Description:
Email
Setting up appointments with potential/current clients
Following up with clients/customers (sending thank you and other reminder
Sending Client Invoices
Calendar Management
File Management (organizing files using Dropbox etc)
Creating basic reports (reports on weekly tasks, deliverables, sales)
Data Entry in Word, or Google Docs
Creating / Managing Spreadsheets
Preparing Slideshows (Powerpoint Presentations)
Liaison between you and other team members
Personal:
Personal errands (purchasing gifts for loved ones / family members online)
Hotel and Flight Booking
Organize and pay bills and expenses on time
Research online and present findings
Help create and manage my personal todo lists, taking notes and minutes
Be able to call various vendors to dispute inconsistencies in billing or issues
