As Bookkeeper, you are a vital part within the company to make sure the executive team has the accurate financial detail to make critical decisions.
Key Outcomes Within The 1st Year
- Develop a system to account for financial transactions
- Establish a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures - create operating manual
- Reconcile all new and previous transactions
- Organize transaction codes accordingly
- Process invoices and payments
- Chase invoices and payments
- Create payment schedules for clients
- Work with team members
- Give at least 5 suggestions to upper management on how to improve the current systems and processes
Key Activities
- Record day to day financial transactions.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
- Improve the invoicing and client processing process
- Manage AP/AR, Payroll, PO’s, etc.
- Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (Accounting majors preferred)
- Experience with Xero (Essential)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in property, real estate, accounting, or operations
- Fluent in English: written & speaking (minimal accent)
- Type 50+ wpm, adept with
- Part-time or full time & ability to work UK (GMT) hours 9am - 5pm
- Work from home or any virtual location with stable and fast internet
