JOB OVERVIEW

This job will have several responsibilities.

First and foremost, you will be the webmaster for my company. As part of this, you will be expected to:
1) Build a WordPress site (with the specialty theme I have already purchased)
2) Incorporate e-commerce into the site, enabling me to sell several different products (shirts, luggage, books, etc...)
3) Maintain the smooth running of the site
4) Upload posts as needed
5) Incorporate Google Adsens/AdWords
6) Manage the companies social media presence (on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc...)
7) Help with SEO results!

Second, though this is related, I'm hoping to have someone who can also write some posts for me (from topics THEY come up with on their own - though sometimes I may supply specific topics). As part of that, you'd be required to:
1) Brainstorm different topic ideas and be sure to get approval on each
2) Write well-writter blog posts, which are concise, fun-to-read and informative (all at the same time)
3) Of course, you must be a fluent English SPEAKER AND WRITER.
4) Though I'm expecting most of my posts to be video-based, ALL POSTS will have written components. You will be responsible for transcribing the videos and/or putting in supportive content

Third, is the idea of a video-editor. Because most of the posts will be video-based, I'm thinking I may not have enough time to edit all of the content myself. As such, I will be needing ongoing help. This is NOT A REQUIREMENT, but highly recommended. As part of this job, you will be required to:
1) Collect raw video from a Box.com account I will create for you
2) Put together and edit the videos in a visually-appealing AND sensible fashion
3) Post all videos to ALL social media outlets (including the blog) AFTER receiving confirmation from myself

Fourth, and finally, will be the "virtual assistant" aspects of the job. As part of this, you will be expected to:
1) Help keep track of my calendar
2) Help to find business partners for different projects currently underway (and those that will come up in the future), which of course I would advise on
3) Prospecting duties by calling/emailing prospective clients/partners/advertisers
4) Daily and/or weekly updates on status/progress as it relates to our different business projects.

Needless to say, the ideal candidate MUST BE PERFECTLY FLUENT IN ENGLISH; you must be able to read and write without grammatical errors. Other keys are WordPress knowledge, familiarity with Google's AdSense and AdWords, an understanding of SEO, and finally, the ability to stay on task and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I am happy to point you in the right direction, but I do not want to have to babysit; I need someone who can take directions and get the job done... Quickly.

While not essential, other helpful skills would be an in-depth understanding of video editing software (such as Final Cut X), a fluency in other languages, and a knowledge of the travel industry.

This job will be hard work and very fast-paced. It will require a great deal of time, dedication and motivation. This will be challenging, but will also be EXTREMELY REWARDING! First Class and Beyond is working to build a reputable brand and we need YOU to make that happen.

What is First Class and Beyond and what do we do? First Class and Beyond is a company built around helping others travel in style. Using rewards-programs (and their points/miles), I help people sit in first and business class seats they would have otherwise only dreamed of. The site will have several components. First, there will be services offered (like award-booking, consultations and workshops). Second, and most noticeably, will be the blog; this is what a majority of the public will see - daily (or every-other-day) posts relating to travel, points, hotels, etc... Here I will give ongoing advice (tips and tricks) on how YOU - aka the average traveler - can take "first class trips" for little-to-no cost. Lastly, there will also be a "store," where clients will be able to purchase several products which I will offer for sale.
