Copywriter

We are looking for creative and talented Copywriter to join our Content Management Team and enrich our websites with new blog posts and various copy.

Copywriter responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our clients’ audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.


Responsibilities:

? Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
? Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
? Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
? Collaborate with designers, Project Managers and Content Managers
? Conduct high-quality research
? Edit and proofread copy as needed
? Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
? Source images and other content
? Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
? Update website content as needed


Requirements:

? Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
? Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
? Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
? Experience with SEO
? Strong research skills
? Creativity
? Collaborative spirit
? Excellent time-management and organizational skills
? BSc/BA in Marketing, English, journalism or related field
? Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
? A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
? High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
? An understanding of formatting articles on the web
? Ability to meet deadlines


Desired

? Some experience with online marketing and lead generation is a plus
? Familiarity with various Content Management System and Wordpress Sites
? Familiarity with E-Commerce sites
? Familiarity with British Culture
? Ability to write using British English
