JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled virtual assistant to join our startup based in the eastern time zone of the United States. The business is in the early stages so the ideal VA is an energetic "go getter" who will be willing to work fast and smart with limited oversight from us. This is an opportunity to get in early on a start up and grow with us. If the business becomes highly successful, the VA may be asked to take on additional responsibilities such as supervising others, which would provide additional compensation. If the candidate performs well, we may hire on full time.

The VA should have good, basic technical skills, a reliable computer with Windows 7 or later, and reliable Internet service and electricity. Prior cold calling experience is required.

We strongly believe in career and knowledge building so the VA should be willing to take online training classes, watch videos, and listen to podcasts to learn new skills quickly. If the classes were not free, we would pay for them. The VA would be paid to take these classes as well. The classes would likely focus on marketing, facebook and google ads, lead generation, sales funnels, etc.

Requirements
• Strong written and spoken communications skills (in English)
• Prior experience cold calling
• Ability to work overnight to be online during US business hours
• Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate problems and offer solutions
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly punctual
• Must be able to receive and make calls
- Examples of calls: dialing into conference calls, setting up new customers, answering customer questions, making changes per customer requests,
• Must be able to transcribe audio recordings and voicemails to text
• Experience working on tasks independently
• Able to think through problems and come up with solutions independently (think outside the box)
• Problem-free computer
• Reliable high speed Internet connection and electricity
• Willing to take online learning classes/modules to expand knowledge and skills (employer will pay for classes)
- Must be very efficient at taking notes and learning quickly
• Distraction-free working area
• Experience using Skype and Google Docs or Office 365
