Front-End Website Designer/Developer - Earn up to US$1,500 per month - Full-time, Long-term Secure Position

We're an Australian online marketing firm with an excellent long-term opportunity for an awesome front-end website designer/developer.

We're looking for a team player with whom we can work long term.

You'll start on a very good salary based on your current skills and experience and receive salary increases and other benefits over time as your skills and experience increase.

The Skills We Are Looking For:

- Excellent HTML + CSS skills, with 5 examples of sites you have implemented previously.

- Great design skills, with at least 3 JPG examples of sites you have designed from scratch.

- Extensive experience building themes and sites for at least one of Drupal, Wordpress, or Joomla.

- Excellent photoshop skills for slicing designs into HTML / CSS.

- Experience with Javascript and jQuery.

- Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.

- Video / Audio editing and integration (basic level)

- Experience with email marketing systems such as iContact, MailChimp, Aweber or similar

- Ability to problem solve

- Ability to tackle larger tasks with a lot of detailed points (e.g. attention to detail).

- Project management experience (working with a team and helping junior team members)

- High attention to detail.

- Not afraid to question, clarify, make suggestions when you don't understand or can see areas for improvement

- 5 years' experience


Personal Attributes

- Communication: You have good written and spoken English and are comfortable with daily Skype calls for team meetings and one-on-one chats.

- Proactive: You look for a solution or you ask if you cannot find it

- Reliable: You can work between 7am and 4pm (with a 1 hour lunch break) Monday to Friday and you will let us know when something comes up that might interrupt your work.

- Punctual: You are able to start at 7am every day with no excuses


Daily Activities:

You will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical tasks. Many will be of short duration (e.g. integrating a form on a page, designing a form) and others will be longer (e.g integrating a full Photoshop design into HTML/CSS).

There is a lot of variety in this role. We use an internal workflow management system to help organise our day to day tasks and projects. Our team is friendly and likes working with great people.


About The Salary and Conditions:

- We're looking for someone who can work 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday Australian time (which is 7am to 4pm Philippines time, with an hour off for breaks/lunch)

- We pay salary weekly and a 13th month of salary on completion of every year of employment.

- The starting salary for this role will depend on your skills and experience and will increase as you prove your value to our company. WE WILL PAY AN "ABOVE AVERAGE" SALARY FOR AN "ABOVE AVERAGE" TEAM MEMBER.

- We will also provide training to ensure you are up to speed with our systems and processes but you must already possess all of the core skill sets to be considered for this role.

- We expect you to have your own computer and high-speed internet connection.

- We will start with 2-day unpaid trial, extended to a 2-week paid trial. Upon successful completion you will be part of the team!
