Responsibilities

Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Building responsive websites & applications
Implementation of security and data protection
Design and implementation of data storage solutions
Optimization of workflow between multiple applications & platforms
Building product pages, landing pages, and website redesigns from our design team
Setting up permalinks, optimizing country selector that will direct customer to the correct site in their region.
Assisting with development needed on Wordpress for the content team
Working within Shopify to customize the store to suit our needs

Skills And Qualifications

5+ years experience in web development
Deep understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
2+ years experience working with Liquid, Ruby, PHP, AngularJS
Proficient in working with Shopify & Wordpress is a must
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
Data migration, transformation, and scripting
Setup and administration of backups
Outputting data in different formats
Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
