The main 3 requirements for this role are:

1.) Experience with, and knowledge in, Social Media Marketing
2.) An eye for attractive graphics, and understanding a Brand
3.) A mastery of the English language; able to write blogs (create content for site & social media)

This role will first and foremost involve drafting content (pictures and quotes) to post on Social Media. The goal will be to direct people to my website. I need someone who understands hashtags, and the best use of them. You will be researching which hashtags are best, and understanding how to put that knowledge to use, to get the most visibility on Social Media sites. I currently have a presence on Instagram and Pinterest, but will have you create a Twitter account as well. I would like someone with knowledge of “Later” or other posting software which help ‘schedule’ posts ahead of time. Any additional knowledge of Social Media will be a huge asset (i.e. experience with Facebook polls, “Upgrade to see actual info” etc.). My website has online courses that are open for the public to enroll in. I need a presence on the web for people to find my site, learn about my courses, and enroll. I am in Canada.

I am looking for someone who is motivated and a self-starter. For example: if you completed a project you were working on (aware the main goal is to drive people to the website) and you have hours left in your day, are you the type of person to come up with an idea on your own, to reach that goal? I would like to work with someone who tries things out, and is not afraid to suggest other tactics to me; tactics other than what I am suggesting you work on. If you have an alternate idea, I would be open to it. :)

I would like to hire someone full time. I would like the starting wage to be $ 400/month USD (which is $ 500/month Canadian), moving up to $ 440/month USD after 3 months (which is $ 550/month Canadian). Also, I am aware of the ‘Thirteenth month’ legislation in the Philippians, and will provide that additional month’s income in early December.

Minimum Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree.
However, if you have over 5 years experience in Social Media Marketing and have experience in blogging, and some SEO knowledge, please apply anyway and I’ll review your resume.

SKILLS: Social Media Marketing, Content creation (blogging), an eye for design (understanding brands)

AVAILABILITY TO WORK: 35 hours per week

WORK TOOLS: Firm knowledge of Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest (& the use of ‘Later’ to manage posts). Understanding of Google Analytics and other SEO tools, an asset. Knowledge of MailChimp an asset.

Additional Requirements: At home computer, reliable internet & speed.
