WebMaster/Web Developer, Required Immediately

We are Canadian based company focusing on Supply Chain Management and IT online courses. We are currently working on several websites and targeting to have online presence by end of this year. We are actively seeking very highly self motivated full time web developer(s) that can give us result in very short time.

Reporting: Reports directly to Manager located in Calgary, Canada.
Services Provided by this Position:
1. Plan, develop and maintain the website framework.
2. Develop, test and implement Web applications ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
3. Design data-driven applications.
4. Design and Implement MySQL database for website
5. Write functional and design specifications for Web applications.
6. Monitor Web applications routinely.
7. Ensure Web applications security.
8. Develop website back-end interfaces, empowering Producers and others to update web content.

Specific Job Duties’][
1. Assist in the planning of overall company policy regarding web development.
2. Work on projects including web layout enhancements, desktop/iPhone applications, website enhancements, web-based applications, and database-backed websites.
3. Code web pages utilizing CSS and XHTML and programming languages including JavaScript, SQL, MySQL, and PHP and combinations of other languages
4. Interact with Servers using SSH, FTP and Telnet protocols.
5. Monitor website ranking through Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
6. Monitor site technical performance and web server and keep a detailed record of its technical performance and functioning with the web server.
7. Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
8. Research and recommend efficient client-server solutions.
9. Provide costing information for the development and planning of Web technology.
10. Create design and layout skills for print, web, and on-air elements.
11. Contribute ideas, designs, and processes to better engage audiences through the web.
12. Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
1. Computer Science/Programming Solid Experience, ability to start working from day first
2. Computer Science Diploma or Degree from Recognized University or College
3. Working Experience with programming languages (XML/PHP) and data base (SQL Server/MySQL), JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML and XHTML
