JOB OVERVIEW

We are after some one to set up a Microsoft access job allocation/ dispatcher database.

We would need the following functions.

-A main page/HUB so that we can see the general outlay of whats going on in our company like general office tasks, parts to order, jobs to follow up important information (that will come from a calendar)

We would need two calendars one for our office and one for booking jobs for our site engineers.

- A page where we could add new jobs or an in office job, With information of what the jobs are like, Customer, Type of Job, time , date, information of the job, etc. The in office jobs will need to display on the main page/hub

- We would need a calendar (day by day) section where we can see each days jobs and be able to allocate a job to an engineer.

- A calendar section (overview of all the days with a small summery of jobs that are booked in) (a month View)

- A search function so we can search all jobs of a various type, customer or name etc.

- An alerts section that would be on the main page for us office staff to be able allocate internal jobs to each other.

-A function to be able to mark a job as complete and billed, additional work required or a quote is required. or both.

-Once a job has been allocated to one of our engineers we need to be able to know that that engineer has been, we would the like to be able to add additional engineers to that job if we have to go back to that job for any reason.

I understand this will be a rolling work in progress so we would be after a base figure to get this done, it must be adaptable and we must be able to add extra onto the database in the future.
