SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST:

Description:

U-Works Marketing and Advertising Agency is looking for a Social Media Specialist to define and execute a social media strategy using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media. Develop calendar and provide regular, relevant content updates. Track metrics, increase fans/followers and drive traffic to U-Works Marketing's services.

The ideal candidate is a creative “outside-the-box thinker”, works well under pressure, has a great sense of humor, multi-tasks, is organized and meets deadlines.

DUTIES:

Meet objectives for fans, followers, and traffic.

Develop social media editorial calendar and distribute content on all social media channels

Discover, create, and post engaging content. Respond to fan comments using the corporate voice consistent with our brand

Conduct sweepstakes and contests using social media platforms

Connect with influencers to create conversations and enhance our brands; dialogue professionally with fans and followers

Use social listening tools to monitor online conversations

Develop benchmark criteria and measure the effectiveness of social media programs

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support their initiatives

Develop and maintain relationships with representatives from Social Media companies



QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications include some university coursework in business or marketing (BS degree preferred) plus 1 year internet experience including social media and SEM/PPC.

We are looking for an advanced level of understanding of social media platforms, Facebook ad creation, Facebook Insights/AdManager/Power Editor.

Knowledge of web analytics helpful. Knows Microsoft Office and has general knowledge of computer hardware and mobile devices. Exceptional writing and conversational skills, exceptional attention to detail.
