Inside Sales Specialist

Summary

South Street Designs is an e-commerce first start-up that operates a number of consumer brands, carries an array of various products from in the art supplies to fashion and jewelry categories. We have been growing at over 300% per year. We are searching for a friendly, helpful, and motivated sales associate to join the team and help grow offline sales of VersaChalk.

You’d be fielding sales inquiries, preparing quotes, brainstorming new ways to help customers, generating leads, and working with the rest of the team to develop our budding B2B sales program. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and independent, a creative problem solver, comfortable on the phone, and is constantly in motion.

The position is full-time and 100% remote. You must be available to respond to client communications promptly throughout the business day (US hours: 8AM-5PM EST).

Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer inquiries
Build and maintain a client list and follow up with customers periodically
Maintain a clean database of client files including pricing, company documents, and shipping requirements
Generate new business via cold calling, e-mailing, online databases, etc.
Prepare and send price quotes, purchase invoices, shipping documents necessary to complete the sale.
Create and maintain marketing materials, pricing sheets, and document templates
Brainstorm new tactics for reaching new customer segments, generating inbound leads, and creating business partnerships.
Coordinating with prospect companies on closing a wholesale deal

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Relevant experience in business development and/or sales
Experience interfacing with high-level executives
Polished and professional communication skills
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Availability to make and respond to calls in a professional setting
