[Full-Time] Full Stack Wordpress Developer

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and talented Wordpress developer. Someone who has experience with the following technologies: Wordpress, Wordpress Plugins, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML. User Experience and User Interface design skills are also a plus. We are based in Melbourne, Australia and we have a team of web developers in the Philippines so this is a remote position and we’re looking for a full-time fixed monthly paid developer who can contribute to our team and projects.

Primary Responsibilities

- Development and customization of Wordpress sites using custom or pre-made themes.
- PHP application development writing custom theme functionality on Wordpress sites.
- Integration of content into Wordpress themes
- Front end interface development of Wordpress themes using HTML / CSS / PHP and Javascript
- Wordpress plugin integration and development.

Minimum Requirements :

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma
- 3+ years of WordPress
- 3+ years of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript
- 3+ years of PHP and MySQL

Preferred Experience:

- Creating custom plugins and themes on WordPress
- Working knowledge of AJAX and Javascript
- Proven experience with coding for responsive design, as demonstrated through a portfolio of samples
- Experience with Bootstrap
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of design patterns and interactive design
- Strong verbal, writing and critical thinking skills
- Able to set priorities and work independently
- Able to to manage multiple projects
- Able to work in a team and communicate with team members on both written and verbal form


Job Description:

- Development and customization of Wordpress sites using custom or pre-made themes.
- Work closely with web designers and project manager to translate designs and style guides and features into functional user interfaces
- Assume full control of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP maintaining code organization and cleanliness
- Configure content via a CMS and/or on HTML pages
- Monitor websites for user error, using tools/plugins
- Own and maintain processes and process documentation in areas of file management, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript coding

- This position is for a full-time developer working 5 days a week(40 hrs/week)
