Please read our job ad very carefully before sending us an email. We are only looking for medical billers or individuals who have worked for a US insurance company. No training will be provided so please do not apply if you do not have the experience.

We are searching for a medical biller that has experience dealing with US insurance companies. Please let us know your level of expertise and what type of billing you have done (in-network or out-of-network). We are hiring multiple medical billers so please state in your email what specialty you have billed for and what tasks you are an expert at.

Desired skills:
• Various medical billing software, charge creation, ICD and CPT verification
• Payment posting, denial handling, account receivables, revenue cycle and practice management
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, procedural and diagnosis codes
• Experience working with insurance companies to resolve denied claims
• Familiar with Navinet to get authorizations

Job Description:
• Reconciling insurance
• AR follow up and patient payments and resolving account disputes.
• Review medical records & claim submissions
• EOB Payment posting or refunds payments issues
• ERA downloading & posting
• Monthly check balancing and closing
• Follow-up with insurance companies for denied claims
• Clearing rejections
• Appealing denied claims
• Calling insurance companies to obtain authorizations.
• Thoroughly review charge slip for accuracy and quality before posting claim
• Consistently check claim statuses to ensure it reaches the correct payer’s destination
• Analyze any responses from insurances or payers (includes RTD, EOB, and denials) for any discrepancies and distribute payments to appropriate claims
• Contest any disagreements by calling and filling out appeals, payment tracing, and claim inquiry forms.
• Collect and exhaust all claims on providers’ behalf, allowing them to continue caring for patients
