Advanced PHP/LAMP Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly competent, experienced, and resourceful developer, with expertise in LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) stack development, to update and enhance our in-house quote-generation software. The scope of this project encompasses the full software stack, as well as QA testing and extensive communication with our office in Toronto, Canada; good English communication (written and verbal) are necessary.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
> Modernize, debug, and maintain legacy code according to our project specifications
> Update and maintain a private code repository on GitHub
> Co-ordinate extensively with developers and project managers in our Toronto, Canada office via email and Skype

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
> Expertise in LAMP Stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
> Proficiency in modern front-end technology, i.e. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
> Proficiency in modern web frameworks and libraries like Bootstrap and jQuery
> Proficiency in Git and version control fundamentals
> Experience in automated testing and QA
> Knowledge of software deployment and basic server management is an asset
