Website Quality Assurance Analyst / Technical Writer

Are you an experienced Website QA who has 3 to 5+ years of experience testing websites and has knowledge in CSS/PHP/JQuery?

Have you got experience using website content management systems?

Our busy web development division is seeking a talented QA team member / Technical Writer with a passion for user-interface and functional testing of client websites.

This is a long term, full time position with a prestigious Australian Web Development and Marketing company.

The successful applicant must have a reliable internet connection, and ideally live close to Makati, or be willing to relocate there within the next 12 months as we build our BPO team.

Payment for full benefits will be provided (SSS, PhilHealth), along with 4 weeks paid leave per annum & 13th month bonus included.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Cross browser testing (desktop & mobile)
Responsive testing
Functional testing
- add to cart / wish list / checkout process testing
- user registrations
- welcome emails
- order confirmations
- mailing list subscription
- creating / editing / removing test content & products
- upload functions
- form submissions
Ensuring meta tags are present and correct
Verifying integrated systems are working correctly
Verifying the planned hierarchy and the site page hierarchy match
Identify any duplicate content or placeholder text
500 & 404 error reporting
Image optimisation testing
Relative and Fixed URL testing
SSL content testing
Setting up 301 redirects
Ensuring Analytics Reporting is working correctly
Meeting stakeholders via Google Hangouts, including a daily briefing meeting
Create QA methodologies and automated processes to streamline future tests
Creating tasks with screenshots for any discovered issues and how to replicate them so our change team can correct them
Assisting with creation and maintenance of user & technical documentation

You need to be a perfectionist, have a keen eye for detail and be able to work autonomously. Excellent English skills (both written and oral) required.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, minimum bachelor’s degree (BS) required.
