Job Description

If you enjoy interacting with people over the phone, are able to quickly identify the needs of potential customers and can explain the features of a product or service in an articulate and accurate manner, you might make a good Sales Consultant.

In this job, you will interact with potential customers (car owners) to promote car insurance.


Duties are:

1) Interacting with potential customers to ascertain their requirements & identify their needs/preferences.

2) Based on customer’s requirements/needs, recommend the most suitable product or services available

3) Make sales calls & Follow up with potential and existing customers

4) Educate customers about different features of your product and about car insurance in general

5) Maintaining relationships with existing customers, working towards repeat orders & referrals.

6) Maintaining customer databases and files as required to keep track of individual customer's preferences.

7) Meeting or exceeding sales quotas


Educational Qualifications and Experience:

1) A college degree in business or finance is preferred

2) Have prior experience in sales, preferably in the financial or insurance industry

3) Must know features of each product like the back of your hand (2-week training given)


Other Requirements:

1) Fast, stable Internet access with at least 1.5 to 2.0 Mbps (Pls check real speed at speedtest.net)

2) Have a room at home that's quiet and private to work and make phone calls.

3) Able to commit at least 8 hours a day, 5.5 days a week (Half day on Sat)
