Work Schedule: 30 hours per week (Monday - Saturday) 11 PM-4 AM

Our company assist clients with identifying new business opportunities, strategizing and defining a product, road mapping its features, prototyping ideas, designing, building and taking it all the way to market.


Job Description

Viss Media is looking for a Content Writer with technical depth, strong market level knowledge, and a flair for seamlessly weaving technical capabilities and value-based messaging into compelling content. This role will be a critical part of making sure our customers, prospects, and the market have the information they need to understand why the Viss Media platform is the right solution for them.

As a Content Writer, you’ll own our product content strategy from inception to completion. You’ll work with the team, as well as the rest of the organization to create and execute a strategic content plan to educate our clients and prospects about the Viss Media platform.

We’re in search of someone with high expectations of themselves and the people around them; a go-getter with a can-do attitude who is excited by a challenge and the opportunity to craft captivating content. An eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits, is crucial.


Essential Functions

The ideal candidate will be at the core a great story-teller with a journalistic mind-set who will bring an approachable, engaging tone that will very much shape Viss Media brand, style, and tone. You will drive the development of a wide range of content to fuel our full-funnel program strategy and drive measurable results.

Build brand awareness and create demand for Viss Media clients through compelling, engaging content.
Develop engaging, shareable content for a variety of channels including web content, reports, social media content, blogs and talking points
Understand basic best practices of social media, web and email channels and develop content in formats that work best for each.
Understand the questions and main points of our prospects, as well as the needs of our internal sales teams, to conceive and create content that helps educate and move prospects through the funnel
Develop a strategic content plan and editorial calendar, and then execute on that plan, delivering content in a timely fashion
Create content to help educate prospects and customers about our solutions, as well as motivate and inspire customers to take action. Examples include product data sheets, technical/solutions-oriented white papers, use cases, sales decks, product videos, battle cards, nurture email content, blog posts, ebooks, research-based reports, newsletters, webinars, infographics, etc.
Support revenue goals by providing prospects with compelling, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management/ engineering, sales, marketing, and the executive team.
Plan, write, edit and distribute digital content to reach developers and technically minded business people such as product managers to increase awareness, generate leads and nurture contacts
Continually identify topics and content ideas to make the most impact for our clients and turn them into engaging digital content



Qualifications:
* Internet connection - 3-5 Mbps Download & 1-2 Mbps Upload
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Journalism, Computer Science, or a related discipline
2 - 4 Years content writing experience in enterprise software and/or managed services
Outstanding written communication skills: the ability to write knowledgeably, clearly and persuasively for a diverse range of audiences
Self-starter
** with SEO experience a plus (preferred but not required)
